Which do you think is a better career, real estate or investment broker?

I'm interested in real estate and I love houses, but an investments broker seems like a more stable job. I am graduating with a degree in business administration (management), and don't know which I should lean towards. Edward Jones is calling me back in a month to see if I want to start training with them. In the long run I'd like to make enough money to invest in rental properties.

2. Start with Edward Jones. To sell houses you have to go back and get another license. Honestly though, selling homes is different from loving homes. It's more of a supplement income, not a full-time job.

5. You love houses. So chose a job which you love. You will rise high in a job you love.Choose real estate.
6. I'd guess that real estate would have much more opportunity to get out and about relating to real people and their lives, and that investment broking would be pretty much a dry office-based, analytical job. So which sort of person are you? I suspect the real estate would suit you more.
7. I would do further research between the 2 careers. Just because you love houses doesn't mean becoming a real esate agent would be a great career choice for you. You probably have many reasons why you like houses. Are you interested in building them, desigining them, decorating the interior, etc...? And besides, it doesn't hurt trying out one career and switching to a different one later on. A LOT of people study one thing in school and end up doing something else completely.
